Kaneeza.com wants to help you find a job, but we also want to alert you of some common yet serious scams.
Learn how to keep yourself safe.A scammer that uses a job posting site like Housekeeper.com is after one thing only – tricking you into giving them money. This is what a typical scam looks like:
An online scammer will email or send a text message , stating they are in  need of maids service outside US or Canada. They will send you messages constantly in order to obtain your information.Once you've consented to work for them, the scammer tells you they will send you a cheque or money order for an advance payment. Scammer will then ask you to deposit the money into your account, and send the rest of the money to another person.
What has happened is they've sent you a fake check or cash arrange. By saving it and sending the additional money to somebody, you've sent real cash to the next individual, and you're on the hook for the money. After some time, the bank will see that the cash you saved doesn't exist and will expel the sum from your financial balance, yet you've effectively sent some of it on, and possibly have spent some of your portion . So the bank swings to you for the missing cash. This is called illegal tax avoidance – transforming fake cash into genuine cash.
